About This Product Asda Chesty & Mucus Cough Relief 100mg/5ml Oral Solution is taken to relieve chesty cough.
Safety Warning
WARNING Do not use: If you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Consult your doctor before use: If you are taking any prescribed medicines or undergoing medical tests. If you suffer from a chronic cough. If you have asthma or are suffering from acute asthma attack. If you have an intolerance to some sugars. Contains 4.4g of glucose per 10ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. This medical product also contains ethanol, E122 and E218. See further warnings information. SIDE EFFECTS If you get any of these serious side effects, stop taking the medicine. See a doctor at once: Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat (severe allergic reactions). These other effects are less serious. If they bother you talk to a pharmacist: Other allergic reactions (e.g. skin rash, red itchy skin). Feeling sick, being sick, stomach discomfort. Reporting of side effects: If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed on this label. FURTHER WARNINGS This medicinal product contains 2.4 vol% of ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 191mg per 10ml dose, equivalent to 4.9ml of beer or 2ml of wine per 10ml dose. Harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. To be taken into account in pregnant or breast-feeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy. Guaifenesin may increase the rate of absorption of paracetamol. Contains E122 - may cause allergic reactions. Contains E218 - may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
